  1. Back in the days when the referee was counted as part of the pitch as opposed to a foreign body.

    But of course this happened in Turkey.

I remember once in my youth team we were playing this team the goalkeeper had just made a save he passes to me as the lb I dribble for a bit play it to the cam but then when the cam tries to pass it down the wing for the counter it bounces off the refs foot right onto the feet of the striker and since were countering or were there is no one in the box the team scores and we are one nil down because of a refs assist

  3. "Forced to award the goal". Referees aren't actually forced to apply the rules by the book. The referee has every right to deny the goal. He could easily have used another rule (like the rule that states when a referee touches the ball the play stops??) to give a corner or something instead.
