  1. As usual Lalas gets it completely wrong. The worst possible result would have been the US winning. How can a country be so arrogant as to think that losing to Sweden was embarrassing. Sweden are now the number one ranked team in the world. The US team detractors are as arrogant as the players. Spain deserved to win the final, and Wiegman proved she is human by getting the tactics and substitutions wrong. The US time at the top is over for good. So many countries are now taking womens football seriously that no country will ever dominate in the future.

  2. Congratulations to all the women who love or practice soccer around the planet. You have shown an impressive quality show in this women's world cup. In Spain and other places we call football "the king of sports", but now it is the king and queen of sports. Thank you.

  3. Ugh Women against Girls … Do you remember what happened when Spain played Japan? It was 4-0 pretending that they were just great the whole time is not the thinking of intelligent person. You also aren't right about Spain and England being the only two teams that deserved to be in the final. MANY OF US OUT HERE DON'T LIKE YOUR COMMENTARY ALEXI . So long.

  4. I watched the match. LUCY BRONZE totally cost England the World cup. Out of position so many times. SO ridiculous passes to Noone like playing for Spain and giving them the ball. Running into Spains center pitch thinking ( What, i don't know ) I can take them all on myself. Well what was she thinking ? England totally lost the World cup because Lucy Bronze was on an ego trip.

  5. Thanks for a great month of content. It’s really make the WC so enjoyable for me. I’m bummed my lionesses didn’t bring it home but I’m sure you’re well happy to dodge the smug English gloating 😅 Love the banter mate it’s all in good jest (I think). I’ll look out for SOTU in a few weeks to see what you got going on. Cheers

Also if you’re going to the Rep convention you should think about running. Couldn’t be much worse than the current bunch of knuckleheads

  6. From the beginning, my first choice for a finalist was Japan but his Spaniard women's team was simply magnificent. They outperform the English team and the lonely goal is a little stingy prize for their performance. Good for Spain and for women's soccer all around the world.

  7. The US has relied on college soccer the be the top soccer nation in the world. That was a big advantage in relation to the rest of the world.

Now that women’s soccer has gotten more important in the world, this reliance on college soccer is becoming a handicap. Spain just became world champions with a lot of young players still within college age.

If the US wants to keep fighting for top spots at international competitions, first you have to define your style of play, and second you have to start relying much more on academies system and early professionalization of teen players.

  8. That Japan risky style got Japan through to knock out stage undefeated. Only when it played turtle against England did it lose. Spain plays a less refined version but good enough to beat England.

  9. Both Coaches almost "Tinkered" themselves To Death.
Spanish Coach STARTED his Left Wing "Super Sub" as CENTER FORWARD.!?!?!?
But, it was the English Coach who Succeeded in "DOING IN" her Team; She Left her BEST Player(James) Out of the Starting Line-Up !!!
    Why.???
Because she DIDN'T WANT TO UPSET THE OTHER GIRLS.!!!
    "IT WASNT FAIR"
That Gave the Whole 1st half to Spain to Dominate
Please Do NOT BRING HER FOR USA.!!!

Maybe what we need is the SPANISH COACH, Who CUT 12 PRINCESSES from his Team; WITH THE SUPPORT OF HIS FEDERATION.!!!
We Hear about how We ALL want to Play like ESPAÑA, BUT, No one wants to bring THE COACH Who PULLED OFF WINNING A WORLD CUP WITH a "B" Squad.!?!?!?
    Talk about Sexism.!!!

  10. Hey Fox Sports, next time, have your production assistants make sure that the clown does not wear his hat. You can't see his face! BTW, in Spanish schools half the day is in English and half in Castilian.

  11. Spain never gives up, never, plays until the last minute and yes, we have it in our DNA. Because we played for our country, because never in history have we given up on anything. From Spain, "The Red".

  12. All top US women, Smith, Rodman, Hatch,Sanchez should run not walk to a top European team that would hire them , much like Macario, Horan have done. The future is in Spain soccer. Spain won with secondary players! Scary. US soccer has alot of work to do. Not one NWSL player was in the semis. Stop with all the praising of this US team, there time has passed. Maybe #6 or 7 now?

  13. Thank you Alexi, David, Carli, every guests, co host, and the Fox Soccer production/ tech team. This world cup WWC 2023 was an historical millésime and will be remembered as a breakthrough in Women soccer. So many great, games, teams, players, and soccer fans to thank.
