Fifa has handed a 90-day suspension to the president of the Spanish football federation, Luis Rubiales.
The suspension comes after he kissed Spanish midfielder Jenni Hermoso at the World Cup final medal ceremony, which he claims was consensual, but which Hermoso has strongly denied on social media.

Maybe there’s some information that I don’t know about but is this really so bad? Was it inappropriate? Yeah… but was it malicious? No. Did he get carried away with the emotion of winning the World Cup? Absolutely…. But does that deserve to be so bad that he has been ridiculed by the world and is now being spoken about in terms of going to trial? Not in my opinion. I’m sure that he would take that moment in time back in a heartbeat if he could…. I don’t know if there’s any previous history of doing anything that that before or if he has history of being someone who has abused his position with females before, but if not then I’m sure he would have never done it if he had thought about it and had the time all over again… I’m sure he wouldn’t have done anything like that… so all the witch-hunt and the media hype is a bit of an attempt to make an example of him. Unless there’s other stuff that he has done which I’m not aware of then I just think it’s a bit unnecessary

All I know, is a kiss is/was used as a form of celebration, and appreciation. On the lips or the cheeks. ‘Tongue” kissing someone without their concern is the true violation. And yes it may seem wrong now because he kissed her on live TV basically so all eyes on him and his career and yes, people and the player herself will use that at any given moment to see a man down.
